CallPal

Terms of Service

What CallPal provides, what it costs, and what each of us is responsible for.

Last updated October 7, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern access to and use of CallPal, an outbound calling platform providing click-to-call, power dialing, call recording, live call monitoring and CRM synchronization. By creating an account or using the service, the organization you represent (“Customer”) agrees to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

2. What the service does

CallPal places outbound calls through a SIP trunk your organization provisions and connects, links those calls to records in the CRM or spreadsheet you connect, and stores call recordings and call metadata on your behalf. Calls are placed from the browser; there is nothing to install.

CallPal does not sell or resell calling minutes. Every organization brings its own carrier, buys minutes from that carrier directly, and is billed by them for usage. Nothing in these Terms creates a telecommunications service relationship between us.

Inbound calling and predictive dialing are not part of the service. Features may change as the product develops.

3. Accounts and access

Your administrators create and manage user accounts and control what each person can do through roles and permissions. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activity carried out under your accounts. Tell us promptly at the address below if you believe an account has been compromised.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

CallPal is sold per seat, per month, at the prices published on our pricing page. Paying for a year up front takes 20% off the seat price. Prices exclude any applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where they apply.

New organizations start with a 14-day free trial for up to five people, with every feature unlocked and no card required. When the trial ends without a subscription, the account locks rather than being deleted: you can still sign in and read your contacts and call history, but you cannot place calls.

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by CallPal.
  • Adding or deactivating a seat mid-cycle adjusts your charge for that cycle on a pro-rata basis.
  • You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you keep access until then.
  • Fees are non-refundable, including for partly used periods. The free trial exists so you can evaluate the product before paying, and we email you before a renewal is charged so a renewal is never a surprise.

5. Acceptable use and calling compliance

You are solely responsible for using CallPal in compliance with every law that applies to your calls, including telemarketing, consent, Do-Not-Call and calling-hours rules in the jurisdictions you call into. You agree not to:

  • place unlawful, harassing, deceptive or fraudulent calls;
  • misrepresent who is calling (every call presents a number your organization has provisioned and verified on its own trunk);
  • upload or dial contacts you have no lawful basis to call;
  • attempt to bypass the platform’s security, permission or caller-ID controls; or
  • resell access to the platform, or use it to place calls on behalf of an unrelated business.

We may suspend access where use of the platform is unlawful, endangers the service, or puts other customers at risk.

6. Call recording and consent

Where you enable recording, you are responsible for giving any notice and obtaining any consent the law requires before a call is recorded. CallPal provides the tooling to make that practical: an automated disclosure that plays to the person you are calling before the call connects, on by default; a control that lets a rep pause recording mid-call; and a per-organization retention window. Turning the disclosure off is your decision and your responsibility.

7. Prerecorded voicemail messages

Voicemail drop is off until an account owner turns it on, and turning it on is your organization’s statement that it holds every consent the law requires for prerecorded messages to the people you call (in the US, the TCPA requires prior express consent for such a message to a mobile or residential number, and prior express written consent when it is telemarketing), and that every message identifies your business and gives a callback number. Each drop is placed by your user on a call your user made; you are solely responsible for the content of your messages and for their lawful use, and you will indemnify CallPal against claims arising from them. We keep a record of who turned the feature on, when, and the statement they accepted.

8. Your data and connected services

You retain ownership of your contacts, call records and recordings. You grant CallPal the rights needed to process that data in order to provide the service, including writing call activity back to a CRM you have connected. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

For the personal data you process through CallPal — your contacts and your team — you are the controller and we are the processor. Our Data Processing Agreement sets out that relationship, including the subprocessors we use, where data is processed and how breaches, audits and deletion are handled. It forms part of these Terms and applies without anything further to sign.

Each CRM, spreadsheet service and SIP carrier you connect is a separate service governed by that provider’s own terms and its own contract with you. We are not responsible for their availability, their pricing or their handling of your data once it reaches them at your direction.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we do not currently offer a contractual uptime commitment. We may modify or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; where a change is material we will say so, and continued use after it takes effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CallPal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for lost profits or lost data, or for your failure to comply with the calling and recording laws that apply to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, including the acceptable-use section above.

When an account ends, we lock it rather than deleting it immediately, so your data can be exported for a reasonable period. After that we delete it in line with the retention practices described in the Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
