Calls are billed by your own carrier at its rate, on every plan. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where they apply.
Billing questions
Do I need a card to try CallPal?
No. The trial runs 14 days with every feature unlocked for up to 5 people, and no card is required to start it. If you decide not to continue, there’s nothing to cancel.
What will my calls cost?
Whatever your carrier charges. You connect your own SIP trunk, from a provider such as Twilio or Telnyx, and pay it for minutes directly. CallPal adds no per-minute charge, so the plan price is the whole of your CallPal bill.
Do I need my own phone provider?
Yes. You connect a calling provider such as Twilio or Telnyx (technically, a SIP trunk) and pay it for minutes directly. CallPal never adds a per-minute charge on top, and you can switch providers whenever you like.
Can I change plans or add people later?
Yes, yourself, from the billing page. An upgrade takes effect straight away. A downgrade waits until the end of the cycle you have already paid for, or applies at once while you are still on the trial. Adding a user is charged for the rest of the current cycle, and removing one makes the next invoice smaller.
Can I cancel, and do you give refunds?
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal, without talking to anyone. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle and you keep access until then. Fees are non-refundable, which is why the trial is free, runs 14 days and needs no card.
What happens to my data if I don’t subscribe?
Nothing is deleted when the trial ends. The account locks: you can still sign in and see your contacts and call history, you just can’t place calls. Everything is waiting if you come back and pick a plan.
