Call disposition
A call disposition is the outcome recorded against a call after it ends: connected, voicemail, no answer, wrong number, not interested, callback booked. It is the field that turns a list of calls into something a team can report on.
Dispositions are only as good as the list they come from. Too few and everything collapses into "connected"; too many and reps pick whichever is nearest the mouse. Most teams settle somewhere between six and ten.
The value shows up in the second pass through a list. A number marked wrong twice should not be dialled a third time, and a callback booked for Thursday is only useful if it was recorded on Tuesday.
Dispositions written back to the CRM automatically are the ones that survive. A disposition a rep is meant to type after the call is the first thing dropped on a busy day — see how CallPal logs calls back.
