Preview dialer
A preview dialer shows a rep the next contact’s record — history, notes, previous outcomes — before any call is placed, and the rep decides when to dial. It is the slowest of the automated dialing modes and the one that produces the best-prepared calls.
It suits high-value, low-volume calling: a renewal conversation with an existing account, a callback on a large quote, anything where arriving unprepared costs more than the extra thirty seconds.
The distinction from a power dialer is who starts the call. A power dialer advances automatically; a preview dialer waits for the rep. Many products, CallPal included, do both — the campaign screen shows the next contact and the rep can either let it advance or hold.
