Power dialer and click-to-call for ActiveCampaign
Turn the contacts, deals and accounts you already nurture by email into a calling list, and file every call back as a note on the right record, in the right relationship.
- Contacts, deals and accounts
- Custom fields included
- Only what changed re-syncs
What you can do with ActiveCampaign and CallPal
Call the list you’ve been emailing
The contacts an automation has already segmented are the ones worth phoning. Bring them in with the fields that did the segmenting, and work the list in the power dialer.
Notes land on the right record
A call logged against an account lands on the account, one against a deal lands on the deal. Each one is filed on the record your rep was actually working.
Your custom fields, not just the defaults
The fields your team added are offered alongside name, phone and email, including the ones your automations set.
Only what changed comes back
After the first import, CallPal asks only for the records that have moved, so a large account isn’t re-read from scratch every half hour.

The ActiveCampaign objects CallPal supports
ActiveCampaign spans marketing and sales, and CallPal brings in both sides of it.
- Contacts
- Full name, phone, email, organisation and owner, plus every custom field on the contact. The default calling list.
- Deals
- Not a calling list. A deal carries no phone number of its own, so what CallPal imports and dials is the contact behind it.
- Accounts
- Account name, phone and website, with calls logged as notes on the account itself.
Why call from ActiveCampaign with CallPal
ActiveCampaign knows more about intent than most CRMs: who opened, who clicked, who reached the end of a sequence. What it’s never had is a way to act on that with a phone call without leaving the tool and losing the thread.
CallPal closes that loop. The segment becomes a calling list, the call goes out on your own SIP trunk with your company caller ID, and the outcome comes back as a note on the contact, deal or account it belongs to. Your rep never retypes anything, and the next automation still sees a complete record.
One practical thing: every ActiveCampaign account lives at its own web address, so CallPal asks for yours when you connect. It uses that for both the sync and the links back, which is why clicking a contact in CallPal opens the right record in your account instead of a generic login screen.
How to connect ActiveCampaign
- Step 01
Find your API URL and key
ActiveCampaign → Settings → Developer. Both are on that page. The API URL is unique to your account, so copy it instead of typing a guess.
- Step 02
Connect your account
Paste both into Settings → Integrations. CallPal checks them before saving anything.
- Step 03
Choose what to import, then dial
Pick contacts, deals or accounts, keep the fields you need, and start calling. Notes post back on their own.

What people ask about ActiveCampaign
Why does CallPal ask for an API URL as well as a key?
Every ActiveCampaign account is served from its own address, so there’s no single one to assume. CallPal saves yours and uses it both to sync and to link back into your account.
Can I connect with OAuth instead?
Not for this part of ActiveCampaign, which offers API-key access only. CallPal shows just that, and not an OAuth button that couldn’t work.
Do my custom fields come across?
Yes. The fields your team added to each object are offered next to the built-in ones when you choose what to keep.
Where does a call on a deal get logged?
As a note on the deal itself. Calls on contacts and accounts land on those, so nothing is filed against the wrong record.
Other integrations
Calling, recording and reporting work the same way whichever of these you bring, and you can connect more than one.
