Power dial a CSV

No CRM required. Upload a file with names and numbers, map two columns, and start calling the whole list, in order, through the power dialer.

  • Up to 50,000 rows per file
  • Every column kept
  • No CRM needed

What you can do with CSV and CallPal

  • From file to first call in minutes

Upload, confirm which column is the name and which is the phone number, and the list is a calling queue. CallPal suggests both from your headers, so there’s usually nothing to change.

  • Every other column comes with it

Territory, source, last touch, whatever your list carries: each column becomes a field on the contact, typed from its values, and available to filter and sort a calling list by.

  • You see exactly what came in

Rows without a usable name or phone number are listed for you. A file that imports 812 of 900 rows shows you which 88 were left out and why.

  • Nothing to authorise

There’s no account to link and no permission to grant. The file is the whole connection, which is why a list someone hands you can be live a minute later.

What CallPal imports

A CSV is one list, and CallPal treats it as one.

Your sheet
One list per file, named after the file itself so you recognise it later. Your header row becomes the fields, and each column’s type is worked out from the values below it.

Up to 50,000 rows per upload. A longer file brings in the first 50,000 and tells you how many were left over.

Why dial a CSV in CallPal

Not every calling list starts in a CRM. Lists arrive from a conference, a partner, a research vendor, or an export someone did months ago, and the calls are usually needed today, not after an import project.

CallPal treats a spreadsheet as a proper source rather than a lesser one. It gets the same setup, the same choice of fields, the same tab in your contacts and the same power dialer as a CRM connection. The only difference is where the rows came from.

It’s also the least committal way to try CallPal. Upload a real list, place real calls on your own SIP trunk, and hear how it sounds before you connect anything to your CRM.

How to connect CSV

  1. Step 01

    Export your list as CSV

Any tool that exports a spreadsheet will do. The first row must be the header row.

  2. Step 02

    Upload it in CallPal

Settings → Integrations → CSV. Drop the file in; CallPal parses it and shows you what it found.

  3. Step 03

    Confirm the columns and dial

Check the suggested name and phone columns, keep the other fields you want, and hand the list to the power dialer.

What people ask about CSV

How big a file can I upload?

Up to 50,000 rows. If your file is longer, CallPal brings in the first 50,000 and tells you how many were left over, so split the file to bring in the rest.

Do calls get logged anywhere?

In your CallPal call history, with the recording, outcome and duration on every call. A file has nowhere to write back to, so CallPal keeps the full record itself.

How do I refresh the list?

Upload the file again. The newest upload is the list, so re-importing simply replaces it.

Which columns are required?

A name and a phone number. CallPal suggests both from your headers, and any row missing either is listed for you afterwards with the reason.

Calling, recording and reporting work the same way whichever of these you bring, and you can connect more than one.
