Aircall vs JustCall
The two products most often shortlisted together by a team that wants a phone system and a dialer from the same vendor. Both are established, both integrate widely, and the choice usually comes down to whether texting is part of your outbound motion.
The short answer
If your outbound is calls and texts in one sequence, JustCall is the closer fit — the breadth is the product. If the phone is a company-wide tool and inbound routing matters as much as dialing, Aircall is the more mature phone system and it shows in the call-handling features.

We make CallPal, a competitor to both, and this page says so rather than pretending to be a neutral review site. Both columns are our own read of publicly available information and can change; no pricing is quoted for either, because plans get renamed and a stale number is worse than none. Check both vendors’ sites for the current answer.
Choose Aircall if…
- You need inbound: IVR menus, ring groups, business-hours routing, voicemail.
- One number the whole company answers, not just a sales team.
- You would rather one vendor handled the software and the phone service together, on one invoice.
Choose JustCall if…
- Your outbound is calls and texts together, in one sequence and one inbox.
- You want WhatsApp or SMS campaigns alongside the dialer.
- You handle inbound conversations on the same numbers you dial from.
If neither quite fits
Neither is bring-your-own-carrier, so both bill your minutes at a platform rate. If your team is outbound-only and the per-minute line has started to show, that is the axis on which CallPal differs from both — at the cost of having no inbound and no SMS at all.
Aircall vs JustCall FAQ
Is Aircall or JustCall better for outbound sales?
JustCall leans further toward outbound, particularly if SMS is part of the sequence. Aircall is stronger as a phone system, which matters if the same team also answers calls. For pure outbound dialing with no inbound and no texting, both carry features you will not open.
Do either of them let me use my own carrier?
Both are primarily bundled — you buy numbers from the platform and pay its per-minute rate. Check each vendor for current bring-your-own-carrier options, which change and are usually enterprise arrangements rather than something on a self-serve plan.
Which has better CRM integrations?
Both have large integration lists weighted toward the mainstream CRMs. If you run Attio, Capsule, Copper, Insightly, Nimble or Less Annoying CRM, check coverage specifically rather than trusting the count — that is where the marketplaces thin out.
More head to heads
Outbound-only, on your own carrier
CallPal is a power dialer and click-to-call layer for teams on smaller CRMs. No inbound, no predictive dialing, and no markup on minutes — because we never sell them.
