Voice, SMS and dialer suite
CallPal vs Aircall
Aircall is a cloud phone system built for teams that answer calls as well as place them — shared numbers, IVR menus, ring groups, business-hours routing — with one of the larger integration marketplaces in the category. It is a sensible default when the phone is a company-wide tool rather than a sales one, and it has been doing this longer than most.
CallPal does not try to be your phone system. It is outbound only: a power dialer and click-to-call layer that runs over a SIP trunk you contract for yourself, connects to CRMs the bigger vendors skip, and writes every call back to the record it came from. Half of what Aircall does well is something CallPal deliberately does not do at all.

The Aircall column is our own read of publicly available information and can change. The CRM-coverage row was checked against each vendor’s own integrations directory on 22 August 2026 — a listing there is not proof of a native two-way sync, which is what that row is really about. We quote no competitor pricing at all: plans get renamed and features move between tiers, and a stale number is worse than none.
Choose Aircall if…
- You need inbound: IVR menus, ring groups, business-hours routing, voicemail.
- One number the whole company answers, not just a sales team.
- You would rather one vendor handled the software and the phone service together, on one invoice.
Choose CallPal if…
- Your team only makes calls, and everything built for answering them is overhead you are paying for.
- Your minutes are enough that a bundled per-minute rate has started to show on the bill.
- Your CRM is Attio, Capsule, Copper, Insightly, Nimble or Less Annoying CRM.
- You want live supervision and a recording window you set, without an enterprise tier.
The CRMs CallPal was built for
Contacts sync in, calls go back to the record they came from — as a native call activity where the CRM has one, as a formatted note where it does not.
Plus CSV and Excel import for anything not on the list. See all integrations.
CallPal vs Aircall FAQ
Is CallPal a good Aircall alternative?
For an outbound-only team, yes: it covers dialing, recording, supervision and CRM logging, and moves the minutes onto your own carrier contract. If anyone in your company answers inbound calls, it is not a replacement — CallPal has no inbound routing at all.
Can I keep my phone numbers if I move from Aircall?
Numbers bought through a platform belong to that platform, so moving means a porting request to whichever carrier you pick next — days to weeks, and occasionally it fails on a technicality. The upside is that it is the last time: once the numbers sit on your own carrier account, changing software never touches them again.
Does CallPal replace a business phone system?
No, and it is not meant to. There is no IVR, no queue, no ring group and no inbound routing. Teams that need both usually keep a phone system for the company and run CallPal for the sales floor.
