CallPal

CallPal vs Aloware

Aloware packages power and predictive dialing, SMS and inbound handling for smaller teams, commonly running on Twilio underneath. It is a lot of contact-centre capability at an SMB price, and the breadth is the appeal.

CallPal is a narrower product with a different carrier model: outbound calls only, no SMS, and a SIP trunk you contract for directly rather than carriage arranged on your behalf. Fewer moving parts, and one fewer party between you and the minutes.

CallPal vs Aloware, row by row

Seven capabilities that actually separate outbound calling tools. Two of them CallPal does not have.

The Aloware column is our own read of publicly available information and can change. The CRM-coverage row was checked against each vendor’s own integrations directory on 22 August 2026 — a listing there is not proof of a native two-way sync, which is what that row is really about. We quote no competitor pricing at all: plans get renamed and features move between tiers, and a stale number is worse than none.

Choose Aloware if…

  • You want predictive or parallel dialing and have the concurrency to justify it.
  • SMS sequences run alongside your calls.
  • You take inbound calls on the same numbers.

Choose CallPal if…

  • One call per rep is what you want, and the silent pause is something you actively avoid.
  • You would rather hold the carrier account yourself than have it arranged for you.
  • Your CRM is one the smaller vendors ignore.
  • You want caller-ID masking enforced by the system, with no path for a rep’s own number to go out.

The CRMs CallPal was built for

Contacts sync in, calls go back to the record they came from — as a native call activity where the CRM has one, as a formatted note where it does not.

Plus CSV and Excel import for anything not on the list. See all integrations.

CallPal vs Aloware FAQ

Does CallPal do predictive dialing?

No, and it is not planned. Predictive dialing means owning an abandoned-call rate and the compliance work around it, which is not a promise we want to make on a customer’s behalf.

What is caller-ID masking?

Every outbound call presents a number the organisation owns, never the rep’s own line. In CallPal there is no configuration in which a personal number can be presented — the number comes from the DIDs attached to the trunk carrying the call.

Is BYOC harder to set up?

It adds one step: an account with a voice carrier, and their hostname and credentials pasted into CallPal. Most providers self-serve that in an afternoon. After it, nothing about switching software touches your numbers again.
